This project has a legal component, but our team paired with lawyers long ago sorted out the requirements for construction sites in Ukraine. Before working with sites on construction was thoroughly researched the legal framework and created an appropriate checklist, agreed by a lawyer. So having experience, legal support and knowledge we started our work.
The first step in the realization of the project was to check the compliance of the client’s site to Art. 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Guaranteeing Rights to Real Estate Objects to be Built in the Future”. As a result of the check it was revealed that not all the information placed on the website complies with the rules of website development for the developer and the client could get a fine.
As a second step, we developed the appearance of a new section on the website to logically place all the necessary information about construction. According to the legal requirements for construction company websites, the following must be specified:
1.General information about the construction object
- Construction object identifier
- Location (address)
- General plan of the settlement (file/link)
2.Main technical characteristics of the house;
- Information about the customer
- Information about the general contractor or contractor
- Timelines and permits
- Construction progress
- Real estate sales (information about future properties that have been sold and that
are being sold) - Terms of purchase
The third step was to implement the layout and filling of the new section on the website after preliminary coordination of the layout with the customer.
As a result, an information block was added to the website in compliance with the new requirements for developers.
This block has a visual and text component. Clicking on the corresponding button with the floor number opens the image of the floor plan.
If you click on the selected apartment on this plan, the plan of the apartment opens, where the total area of the apartment is indicated, which is one of the requirements for real estate sites.
Also in this block there is an information component, which is presented in the form of links to the relevant documents that should contain the site of the developer, by clicking on the selected inscription opens the document.
General information about the object was implemented in the form of a drop-down list, where by clicking on the cross the necessary information appears.
In general, all the innovations on the site were made clearly in accordance with the requirements of Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On Guaranteeing Rights to Real Estate Objects to be Built in the Future”
The client received a website that is trustworthy, will not bring penalties, easy to use, complies with the requirements of the law and at the same time functional and attractive.
